Jennifer Grant was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. She graduated from Stanford University with a degree in history. Before becoming an actor, Grant worked at Hollywood Park racetrack organizing the Breeders Cup horse races, and as a chef at Wolfgang Puck’s Spago. Her first acting role was in Aaron Spelling’s Beverly Hills, 90210, and she later appeared in Friends, Ellen and CSI, as well as several feature films. Grant wrote Good Stuff: A Reminiscence of My Father, Cary Grant (published by Alfred A. Knopf) in 2011. During her life as an actor and writer, yoga and meditation were always Grant’s support system, and she now teaches mindful meditation. She lives in Los Angeles with her two children.
